The politician expressed confidence that the opposition party would be trounced severely and urged them to be ready for such development.
Governor Fayose made his position known on March 22 Sunday through Idowu Adelusi his chief press secretary. He added that by the polls the APC would have to understand an important political lesson that elections are not won through sheer propaganda.
“The reason APC will fail woefully is because people have come to know it as a party peopled by liars, deceits and hypocrites who should not be entrusted with the leadership of this country.
“Even leaders of thought in the North have since withdrawn their support when they realised the agenda of certain APC leaders against the North.
“I can say it categorically that Buhari will be beaten silly and I am advising Buhari and his APC to take the impending defeat philosophically as an act of God.
May be after this election the party will change there name from APC to Panadol.
Fayose also that Buhari did not do any good for the nation while he served as a military head of state.
This comes amid criticism directed at Fayose over his anti-Buhari campaigns. It should be noted that reacting to the governor’s attacks, which have been widely publicised in the media Fayose’s eldest brother Segun said that Ayodele should stop embarrassing the good name of their family

Brymo Reveals Why He’ll Never Return To Chocolate City & Why He Has A Child Out Of Wedlock In New Interview
Olawale Ashimi popularly known by his stage name, Brymo is without a doubt one of the most talented acts in the country today and despite him being underrated, he continues to make good music that his true and core fans continue to appreciate.
In a recent interview with Punch, the singer spoke on an array of issues from his relationship with Chocolate City to his decision to have a baby outside of wedlock. Read excerpts from the interesting interview below
What’s the current state of your relationship with Chocolate City boys?
What’s the current state of your relationship with Chocolate City boys?
Due to issues that occurred in the past, there’s a little gap in that relationship, but that’s alright. Eventually all things will fall back to place. Our paths constantly cross since we are in the same business, so it doesn’t take long before you start laughing again. Personally I have learnt to be more careful, so I am a little slow to jumping back into old friendships.
There are rumours that Jesse Jagz is romancing Chocolate City again. How does this make you feel bearing in mind that you both exited Chocolate City about the same time?
Jesse has family ties within that circle and it’s unfair to expect him to break that off because of business.
If you are prevailed upon, would you return to Chocolate City?
Never, but we could have dealings again though. There are no permanent friends or foes in business.
But your recent tweets appreciatingChocolate City point in a different direction? Those tweets were to show appreciation to people I have worked with in the past. I have reconciled all that happened in the past. It has always been their call to also move on.
What do you miss about Chocolate City?
I neither miss nor regret anything. We had a business relationship that didn’t work out. That’s alright because it happens all the time in the world of business.
How does it feel to be an expectant father?
It feels exciting and I can’t wait to lay my eyes on the little one. The excitement is skyscraper high.
Why did you choose to have a child out of wedlock?
Because a child is a product of love not of marriage. Marriage was made for men to get assistance from women and vice-versa, but society has bastardised the concept. I would rather pay attention to loving the woman I am with than seek the approval of society about it.
Was the pregnancy planned?
I wouldn’t wait till I am over 30 to venture into fatherhood. So, yes you can say it was planned.
How long have you known your baby mama and when do you plan to marry her?
We’ve been together for at least three years. You’ll definitely know when we decide to get married.
Of all the ladies that have come your way, why did you choose to be with her?
It is the connection. You find someone and you flow with them. That’s something you don’t plan.

Election Is Not War – APC Preaches Against Violence
The All Progressives Congress (APC) said that an election was not war, but a celebration of democracy.
The National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Lai Mohammed, said this at a news conference in Lagos, ahead of the presidential elections on March 28.
“Election is not war, but a celebration of democracy. Nigeria must not be allowed to be plunged into crisis for whatever reason. This is because the consequences will be dire, not just for our country and her citizens but for the entire West African region and indeed all of Africa,” he said.
Mohammed said that Nigeria’s estimated population of 170 million is over 56 per cent of the ECOWAS’ population of 300 million, therefore, a destabilised Nigeria would be a destabilised West Africa. He said that despite the kind of cloud that was gathering over the nation, the APC remained optimistic that the will of the people would prevail.
“We have no doubts that at the end of the day, good will overcome evil,” he said.
The APC spokesperson distanced the party from a radio station that was allegedly being used to destabilise the polity. “Gentlemen, we state categorically that we have nothing to do with that radio station,” Mohammed said.
He noted that it was plotted to put the party and its leaders in bad light raising alarm that the party had uncovered other plans aimed at crippling it and putting it at a disadvantaged position ahead of the elections.
Mohammed, however, said that the party remained in good stead, with just a week before the Presidential and National Assembly elections as many Nigerians had continued to embrace it as an agent of change.
